Making a Difference

Teaberry Knoll Academy of Therapeutic Riding, Inc. offers recreational and therapeutic riding for physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged children from throughout RI and Southeastern MA. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, Teaberry Knoll does not receive government funding and relies solely on the generosity of those in our community.

Health care professionals recommend supervised therapeutic and recreational riding as a highly beneficial exercise for those with special needs. Our clients are often referred by physicians, physical therapists, clinicians, group homes, schools and hospitals.

Mission Statement: Teaberry Knoll Academy of Therapeutic Riding, Inc. is a community oriented, charitable organization dedicated to providing riding therapy to children with disabilities. Through a variety of equine programs, conducted in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment, our aim is to develop in each individual, increasing levels of competence in horsemanship, together with elevating spirit, confidence, and self-esteem. Additionally we seek to share in the physical and emotional growth and well being of every participant, thereby enhancing the lives of all.

Teaberry Knoll Academy of Therapeutic Riding, Inc. is a participating NARHA member center with a certified NARHA instructor on site.
