Volunteers

Therapeutic riding is labor-intensive: each horse and rider must be guided by three people. One person leads the horse, and the others are positioned on either side of the rider for guidance and support. A cadre of dedicated volunteers, including physical therapists, parents, horse lovers, and college students are an essential component of Teaberry Knoll’s success.

Volunteers are needed to take an active part in making the program work. There are many students who need assistance, particularly in the beginning stages of riding.
